Metanomics 2007

Today starts Metanomics 2007, a series of event run by Metaversed (among the first to publish a story about the Metaverse Republic) in collaboration with Cornell University, Johnson School of Management. Professor Robert Bloomfield (aka Beyers Sellers on Second Life) and Nick Wilson will be introducing the series today, at 11 AM SLT/PST, with a session called “Metanomics 101″. Today’s event will take place on the Metaversed Island. There are 5 events on the calendar for now, one of them being especially interesting for those interested in virtual law issues: Anti-social contracts in virtual worlds, where professor Joshua Farfield will be speaking about the uses and limits of contracts in governing interactions in virtual worlds.
