Virtual Worlds Forum - How it went

Back from London a few days ago, it was great! We had a chance to present the Metaverse Republic to a unique audience of professors, lawyers and community specialists, and the feedback was extremely positive. For more information about the conference overall, which was wonderfully organized and very interesting, the best source is the blog of the Virtual Economic Forum, the organizers of the conference. There is also a very interesting post which lists a good number of the press and blog reactions about the Forum.

Here’s a link to the presentation that I delivered at the workshop, hoping to have some feedback on how we can make things better understood for next slides. Any input is welcome, as always. :-)

It’d be great to add some images to your presentation

The reason why I put only text is basically because I wanted to keep it simple and straightforward. We might add some images in the future, though, maybe data and / or our new HQ, courts and so on. Thanks for the suggestion!

Hi there! I think that what you need to do, is get Linden Labs to include a statement in their terms of service(TOS).
That statement might go something like this: ‘you agree to be subject to metaverse republic parliament laws, and decisions…etc….’.(something like that?)
This statement or clause would need to be put into effect upon all former and current sl users as well.
I just thought of this. I’m not all that aware of all the ins and outs of it though. But, that would give alot of power to this organization,
for enforcement, I think.
